What the service is

Underpass connects a customer's own devices into a private network. Traffic between devices is end-to-end encrypted; we can't see it, and our relay only forwards packets it can't read. We don't host public content or let users publish to others outside their own workspace. The little user-provided content we store is workspace settings: names of workspaces, devices, apps and services.

Single point of contact (Articles 11 and 12)

Authorities of the EU member states, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services, and users of the service can reach us at legal@getunderpass.com. We communicate in English.

Legal representative (Article 13)

Reporting illegal content (Article 16)

If you believe something stored in Underpass is illegal (for example a workspace or device name), write to legal@getunderpass.com with:

• Why you believe it's illegal.
• Where it is: the workspace, device or page, as precisely as you can.
• Your name and email address (not needed for reports about child sexual abuse material).
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete.

We confirm receipt, decide carefully and without undue delay, and tell you what we decided and how to contest it. To report misuse of the network itself, see our Acceptable Use Policy.

Our decisions (Articles 17 and 20)

If we restrict an account or remove content, we tell the affected user why, what it was based on, and how to appeal. Appeals go to the same address and are reviewed by a person.
